Larry Leon Smith, our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend left this world on August 23, 2022 at the age of 69. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Larry was born June 9, 1953 to Leon and Norma Smith. He grew up on the west side of Provo on a farm. He graduated in 1971 from Provo High School. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Provo Riding Club, and The Baron Car Club.
He was a man of many talents and a true craftsman. He worked hard to provide for his family, and he raised his kids the same way. In his later years he fully took up woodworking which included furniture, log homes, pool tables, custom carvings, inlays and etching.
Larry married his high school sweetheart Cindy Lee Christensen on September 28, 1972 in Spanish Fork. They bought a home in Spanish Fork where they raised their 4 children and still currently reside. He had a love for the outdoors, woodwork, hunting, camping, boating, shooting, horseback riding, classic cars, boy scouts, and anything that involved his kids and grandkids. He was always the life of the party and enjoyed company.
Larry is survived by his wife Cindy, his kids and grandkids, Jami (Brittney & Jace), Navada and Amber (Bailey & Wyatt), Bodie and Aubry (Trey, Ava, & Hank), Clint and Whitney (Tyan & Krew), his siblings, Donnie (Elaine) Smith, Gaylene (Randy) Jensen, Steve Smith, many nieces and nephews, and his mother-in-law Pennie Christensen.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and his siblings Jackie Hinckley and Ronnie Smith.
A visiting ceremony will be on Friday August 26, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. Graveside service will be Saturday August 27, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Spanish Fork Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. We would love for you to come and honor his life with us.

August 26, 2022 at 12:06 amWhat a great man!
Hold your heads high, the great memories you have from Larry is unmatched.
I remember growing up spending time at Larry’s place, so many good stories that still make me smile and laugh. I can still hear him laughing at the boys’ wrestling matches in the tv room.
So many more stories I am glad I got to witness!
