Lamont Ren Atwood January 7, 1927 - November 24, 2022

Lamont Ren Atwood, beloved husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather. Went back to his heavenly home Nov 24th 2022.

Lamont was born Jan 7th 1927 in Elmo Utah. Son of Hyrum Atwood & Alta Chidester.

Lamont joined the US Navy Aug 26th 1944 served in WWII and later was honorable discharged.

Married Joy Elaine Shepherd had 5 kids Phillip, Jean, Linda, Doug & Gary.

Lamont later married Lorna Bennett. Served on a LDS mission with Lorna.

Lamont retired moved to Quartzite AZ. Loved the outdoors hunting & fishing.

Lamont moved back to Utah at age 93 to Beehive Homes in Santaquin.

Lamont was preceded in death by his Mother & Father, his first wife Joy, his second wife Lorna, his son Phillip & daughter Linda.

Visitation will be Thursday December 1st 2022, 1:00pm to 1:45pm at Walker Funeral Home in Spanish Fork. Burial will be in Spanish Fork Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion.
