I was Ladd’s hospice aide for the last 6 months. I only knew him for a short amount of time, but I wish I had more time with him. Not only did he give me great advice for my life, he also brought joy and laughter to every visit. He was stubbornly independent and taught me what it truly means to never give up. It was truly such a blessing to get to care for him. I am so glad he gets to be with his wife again as he spoke about her often. Prayers are being sent your way for comfort and acceptance.

I am sorry for your loss. He was a great man. Mr Abbott was always friendly to me when I visited his house, even when we weren’t very well behaved (Yes Tammy, is). I will always remember his smile. My favorite memory of him was when he danced with Tammy at her wedding. He was so happy it was contagious.

To The Abbott Family: David and I send our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy over the loss of your awesome Dad. Ladd, Myrna, and all you kids were the best neighbors anyone could ask for when we moved here in 1981. We tried our best to let Myrna let us adopt Todd who we loved to the max. She would hear nothing of it! Ladd was a constant good neighbor and friend. We are so sorry for your loss.
Sending best wishes and love to you all, Kathleen and David Super.
