Kyle Brandon Millward, 38, passed away on the morning of October 7, 2021 in Payson, Utah. He courageously fought a battle against COVID-19 and was with his loving wife when he passed. He leaves behind his dear wife, Andrea; eight-year old son, Brody; six-year old son, Cooper; four-year old daughter, Grace; and two-year old son, Daxton. He is also survived by his father, Brian Millward, and his two sisters, Jodie O’Connell and Breanna Millward. He is preceded in death by his mother, Vicki Gail Millward.
Born February 21, 1983 in Anaheim, California, Kyle grew up in a loving family and had many happy memories of his childhood. He graduated from Rancho Verde High School and played the trumpet while in school. He was active in the scouting program and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Kyle served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Colorado Denver North Mission. He was an active member of the Church where he served as scoutmaster, gospel doctrine teacher, executive secretary, young men’s president, elder’s quorum president, and as a member of the bishopric.
Kyle met the love of his life, Andrea, at their singles ward in Menifee, California where they began dating. They were married on January 22, 2011 in the San Diego California Temple. They lived in Grand Terrace, Perris, and Clovis, California as well as Vineyard, Utah before settling in Santaquin, Utah.
Kyle was a successful entrepreneur and business owner and had a wide-ranging set of skills. He was a certified Realtor, Low Voltage Technician, and home inspector, and owned a commercial landscaping business. He was a hard worker who provided well for his family. He led by example and was a role model to many. He was constantly in the service of others and would willingly share his knowledge and skills.
He was an avid adventurer and had many hobbies, interests, and talents, including: surfing, snowboarding, paddle boarding, deep-sea fishing, paintballing, rock climbing, kayaking, shooting, off-roading, snorkeling, camping, hiking, backpacking, four-wheeling, and golfing, among many other activities. He lived life to the fullest and was well-known for being spontaneous and always ready for the next activity. He had dreams of climbing Mount Whitney, visiting Iceland, and participating in many more adventures with his family.
Kyle was extremely kind and generous; he was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He made everyone feel welcome and included. His smile was genuine and he made friends easily. He had a contagious laugh and brought joy to everyone he met. The nature of his job often put him in tense situations but he could always diffuse the situation and put everyone at ease. He was always optimistic and positive, and he brought light to everyone he met.
The most important things in his life were his family and the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was fiercely devoted to his family and his children loved spending one-on-one time with him. He had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and lived a life that was consistent with his beliefs. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He made this world a better, more joyful place.

October 17, 2021 at 6:55 amSo sad to come across this…I did the office at storage when your family moved here from California. Kyle always had a smile whenever he came into the office & always a positive attitude & kind way about him even at the most serious moments when others would have lost their cool in the situation. Did not have a chance to know all of you but if you knew him you knew he loved his family. I’m so sorry for your loss he was an awesome person, your family is in our thoughts & prayers.
