Kevin Lewis Hoffmann was born and passed away in Provo, Utah. He was the beloved son of LeRoy (Roy) Hoffmann and Velma DeLone Liebhardt.
Kevin spent most of his life in Orem and graduated from Orem High School in 1977. From a young age, he had a deep love for cars, boats, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, camping, fishing, and antiques; passions he carried throughout his life. He studied Taekwondo and proudly earned a third-degree black belt.
Known for his quiet nature, Kevin was also honest, determined, and deeply dependable. He was the kind of person who would show up at any hour to lend a hand, especially if it involved electrical work, which he genuinely enjoyed, even down to changing a light bulb for someone in need.
Kevin had a wide-ranging appreciation for music, with a special fondness for classical music. He loved the outdoors, was an Eagle Scout, and found joy in simple things like good TV and meaningful conversations. A certified electrician, he eventually founded his own company, Hoffmann Electrical. He was hardworking, brand loyal, steady, and always ready with a dry wit that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He later made his home in Spanish Fork, where he lived until his passing.
Kevin’s greatest pride was his family. He and Sandra May welcomed a daughter, Alexis. Later, he married Shelly Baxter, who brought her daughter Shalanea into the family. Together, Kevin and Shelly had three more children: Angalese, Kayson, and Ivalynn.
He is survived by his mother Velma, his brother Kelly and sister Kerri, his wife Shelly, his five children, and six cherished grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the church building near his home, 1006 East 200 South, Spanish Fork, Utah. Immediately after the Celebration of Life, Kevin will be laid to rest at the Orem City Cemetery.
The family thanks Walker Funeral Home for their compassion and service.
