Kevin Duane Ludlow, 42, passed away on April 11, 2026, in Spanish Fork, Utah. Born on May 22, 1983, in Vallejo, California, Kevin was the beloved son of Cynthia Jean Ludlow and the late Duane Francis Ludlow. He grew into a man known for his kindness, curiosity, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved.
Kevin graduated from Adolfo Camarillo High School before continuing his education at Utah Valley University and MTECH, where he earned his mechanics license. His dedication to his craft led him to Doug Smith Subaru, where he became a respected technician and proudly achieved ASE certification through Subaru of America. His coworkers knew him as someone who could fix anything—and make it better than it was before.
A lifelong learner and a man of service, Kevin was also an Eagle Scout, a reflection of his integrity, resourcefulness, and willingness to help anyone in need. He was fiercely loyal and protective of those that he loved.
Kevin married the love of his life, MaryAnn Smith, in Spanish Fork. Their love was immediate, deep, and enduring. Kevin and MaryAnn cherished each other from the beginning to the end, building a life filled with laughter, tenderness, and a profound sense of partnership.
Kevin loved—truly loved. He loved his wife, his children, his family, and his dogs with a full and generous heart. He took pride in his Scottish heritage and found joy in the traditions and stories that connected him to it. He delighted in assembling and painting Warhammer miniatures, pouring patience and creativity into every detail. He also loved teaching and playing Magic the Gathering with friends. Fixing things came naturally to him, and he found satisfaction in making the world around him work just a little better. He also loved cooking and sharing meals, believing that good food brought people together in the best possible way.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, MaryAnn; his mother, Cynthia; and his boys, Wyatt James Guzman and Paul Jaxson Guzman. He is also survived by his siblings: Matthew (Rachel) Ludlow, Tara (Daniel) Smith, and Anjuli (Lance) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Francis Ludlow.
Kevin will be remembered for his warmth, his steady presence, and the way he made others feel valued simply by being himself. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the love he gave, and the memories held close by those who knew him.
May he rest in peace.
