Kaylene Bennett Youngblood, our beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend passed away suddenly on April 10, 2019 at the age of 27. She was born August 16, 1991 in Provo, Utah to Dave and Karen Bennett.
Kaylene attended school in Orem until junior high, and then graduated from high school in Spanish Fork. Kaylene met her husband Daren Youngblood in 2014 while working at Liberty Safe and they married on May 5, 2016. Their families blended when they married and Kaylene became a step-mom to three children who she adored and who adored her. Recently Daren was able to adopt Kaylene’s daughter Lexie. Together they have a son, Carter.
Kaylene loved her family more than anything in this world and valued spending as much time together with them as she could. Kaylene volunteered at her children’s school regularly and loved to be outside and go on hikes with her children. Kaylene had a unique ability to make a house a home. She also loved to have fresh flowers around the house and strived to make it welcoming for the entire family. Kaylene’s home and her presence were alike in that, they were both refreshing, welcoming and comfortable to be around. Kaylene had a unique ability to be loving and accepting towards everyone she met. Her children, friends, and family members all knew that they could rely on her for love and support. She was a great listener and was never quick to pass judgment.
Kaylene had several hobbies and interests that included painting, hiking, gardening, horseback riding and decorating. Kaylene loved animals and had all kinds of pets for the kids including dogs, cats, goats, chickens and ducks. She and Daren loved the calming sound of water. They were married on the beach in Oregon and Kaylene felt comfort from the sound of the stream that flowed through their backyard. She always looked forward to the water coming back in the spring.
Kaylene is survived by her adoring husband Daren Dee Youngblood; children, Cristie, Dylan, Haylie, Lexie and Carter; Parents, Dave and Karen Bennett; sisters, Kendra Hinkle – husband Casey, Karlen Packer – husband Aaron, and Keri Kubesh – husband Brian; grandparents, Scott and Lyn Lyman; and many other family and friends that loved her.
