Kayleen Clayson, 80, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at a care center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kayleen was born July 3, 1942, in Seattle, WA, the second child of Lavar Alma Clayson and Allene Stott Clayson. She graduated from Payson High School in 1960.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will be remembered for her kindness, love, and example of compassion as she spent her life in the service of others.
Kayleen is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Vernetta and Rosann. She is survived by her brother, Valden Lavar Clayson, and several nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the Payson 8th ward church building located at 780 West 500 South, Payson, Utah. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah.
