Kathleen Zeeman Waters passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023, surrounded by her family. Kathleen was born to Eltjo (Al) and Agnes Zeeman on April 16, 1937, in Spanish Fork, Utah. She received her education in Spanish Fork and continued on to receive a drafting and interior design degree. She married the love of her life, Richard Clyde Waters, in the Salt Lake City Temple. They enjoyed 66 years together. Richard and Kathleen had six wonderful children.
She was a woman of many talents. Her interests included stain glass, oil painting, genealogy, and interior design. She was an amazing seamstress, pianist/organist and was an avid reader.
Kathleen is survived by her children Steven (Jeanne), Michael (Melissa), Debra (Jerry), Denise, Brenda (daughter in law), and Allison (Dean), 26 grandchildren, and 56 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Clyde, her son Richard Todd, her parents, and two siblings.
Kathleen held her relationship with her Father in Heaven close to her heart. She was a woman of faith, a constant companion, a benevolent mother, and an example to all. Kathleen was a courageous daughter of God, a literal angel on earth, showing unconditional love to everyone around her.
Our family would like to thank those who so lovingly cared for our mother: Holly, Bonnie, Cami, and Jessica, as well as the caregivers at Spring Gardens.
