Karah Kristine George April 26, 1991 - June 6, 2026

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Karah George, who left this world on June 6, 2026, after a courageous three-year battle with breast cancer. Throughout her journey, Karah faced every challenge with remarkable strength, grace, and determination, inspiring all who knew and loved her.

Karah was born on April 26, 1991. She was a bright, compassionate, and driven individual whose caring nature guided both her personal life and professional calling.

Karah graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 2009 and went on to attend the University of Wyoming, where she earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2012. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a career in nursing. She attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, graduating in 2019.

Following graduation, Karah was offered a position in Orem, Utah, at a behavioral hospital, where she worked as a psychiatric nurse. She loved her life in Utah and built a community of friends whom she considered family. Dedicated to advancing her education and providing the best possible care to her patients, Karah earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree in the spring of 2025. Sadly, despite the tremendous effort and perseverance it took to achieve this goal, including continuing her studies while undergoing chemotherapy treatments, she was never given the opportunity to practice in this role. Nevertheless, her accomplishment stands as a testament to her resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to helping others.

Outside of her career, Karah had a deep love for travel and adventure. She made it a priority to explore somewhere new each year, embracing new experiences, cultures, and friendships along the way. Her adventurous spirit, infectious smile, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Karah will be remembered for her compassion, intelligence, strength, and ability to make others feel loved and valued. Even during the most difficult moments of her illness, she remained courageous and hopeful, inspiring those around her with her positive outlook and fierce determination.

She is survived by her parents, Tina and Brian Williams of Casper, Wyoming; her brother, Gage Williams of Firestone, Colorado; her sister, Devin (Caleb) Rhoades of Casper, Wyoming; and her beloved nephews, Judson, Mackson, Huxson, and Lucky, whom she adored. She is also survived by her grandparents, Gary and Angie Stinson of Douglas, Wyoming, and Cheryl Sims of Mesquite, Nevada; her aunt, Amy (Mike) Moser of Gillette, Wyoming; her cherished cats, Oatmeal and Poptart; as well as numerous other relatives and countless friends who became family throughout her life.

Karah’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. While her time here was far too short, the kindness she shared, the lives she touched, and the example of courage she set will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Tate Pumphouse, 1775 West 1st Street, in Casper, Wyoming. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Karah’s life, share memories, and celebrate the love and joy she brought to so many.

Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in knowing that Karah’s legacy of compassion, strength, and love will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Karah’s name to the Casper Humane Society in Casper, Wyoming, in honor of her love for animals.
