Judy Warner passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 76, surrounded by the people she loved most. Born on May 26, 1949, to Jack Warner and Phebe Hughes, she was the third of eight children. Judy spent her childhood in Spanish Fork, Utah, where she met her husband, Morgan Warner, at a band concert in Payson. Despite her family’s move to Salt Lake City, they stayed in touch, and Morgan later proposed to her over the phone. After his return from Vietnam They were later married in the Salt Lake City Temple on September 8, 1968.
Judy had an adventurous spirit and a love for learning. Whether she was working in construction, as a substitute teacher at Spanish Fork High, or running a steamroller, she embraced every challenge with enthusiasm. She was a gymnast, a gifted artist, and a dedicated ER secretary, but her greatest joy was being a mother to her children: Ched, Devin, Stephani, and Jared. She and Morgan raised their family in Spanish Fork; though they divorced in 2008, they remained close friends.
Judy cherished her grandchildren and made every moment special—whether it was watching cartoons (despite not being a fan), making trips to the gas station for a Diet Coke or Pepsi Zero, or rewarding good behavior with a “grab bag” of treats. She was their biggest supporter, cheering them on in every accomplishment. She stood by Morgan through thick and thin, earning his heartfelt praise as, “the best Marine Corps wife a guy could ask for.” From helping him purchase and run a dairy farm to attending countless softball games and Sunday gatherings, she showed up wholeheartedly for her family.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Phebe; her son Mark, and her daughter Devin. She leaves behind a loving family: her ex-husband, Morgan (Lori); her children: Ched (Yolette), Stephani (Ericka), and Jared (Angie); 11 grandchildren: Emma (Tyler), Abbey, Sarah, Anna, Matthew, Seth, Sydney, Malea, Anthony, Shay (Dylan), and Zach; and 2 great-granddaughters, Elena and Tina.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on July 9, 2025, at Canyon View Park from 6:00-8:00 pm. Her family deeply appreciates the kindness of neighbors and friends who supported her throughout her life. Judy cared for each of you, and her love and appreciation will always be felt.
