Josefina Garcia de Cruz was born on May 4, 1969 and went Home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 21, 2019 after a tragic accident. Josefina was born in San Pedro Nopala, Oaxaca, Mexico to Ramon and Marcelina Velasco. She grew up on the family ranch learning to take care of animals and grow vegetables. She married her one and only sweetheart, Florentino Cruz and together they had one daughter and 3 sons. She let the Lord Jesus into her heart and it gave her great joy to know her sins were forgiven! She always talked to the Lord like he was her Friend and she loved to sing to Him!
She is survived by her husband Florentino; her children Gilberto (Samanta), Ricardo and Mario; her grandsons Natan and Jacob, her mother Marcelina, and her 3 sisters, Juana, Margarita and Alvina. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cristina and her father, Ramon, who both went before her into the presence of Christ.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. located at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork. Family and friends may attend a visitation from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the Funeral Home.
