As a proud police officer and owner of a successful welding shop, he was an embodiment of resilience and commitment. He was an avid adventurer who loved hunting, fishing, camping, and flying; these hobbies brought him great joy. His impressive achievements were many, including his education at Fullerton Jr. College and the creation of a loving family alongside his beloved wife, Susan Colianni, whom he married on May 4, 1985. John Phillip created a life filled with beautiful moments and memories that will be felt in the hearts of his loved ones forever.

John Phillip leaves behind an enduring legacy in his loving wife, Susan, and their devoted children, Kate (Jason) Hill, Gayla Snelson, and Shelley Burgett. He was also a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A man who valued cleanliness and order, he was a model of discipline, a trait that will be remembered by all who knew him. John Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, John Sr. and Betty Johnson, and his brother and sister.
