John Landon Mayne, 29, of Tooele, returned home on October 25th, 2020 due to a weather-related automobile accident.
John Landon was born to the parents of Shaun and Melannie Mayne Copeland. Landon was a courageous and adventurous man with the biggest heart, made of gold. He was so kind, fun loving and generous. His bright blue eyes and infectious laugh brought joy to all. He was a light of happiness and love that will truly be missed by all.

Shortly after they married, they moved to Florida so Landon could pursue a career in the US Army. They later divorced in February 2013. He was currently engaged to Alexis Freeman, and was set to marry on October 31st, 2020. He adored her daughters, Hailey and Allison and loved them as his own. When they were all together their family was whole. The loves of his life were all dear to his heart and precious in every way to all of us.
He worked in the pipelining industry and later moved to North Dakota to work in the oilfield with his father. Missing his boys, he returned to Utah to be closer to them. He worked at Purple as a mix master for three years, but most recently was working at Clean Harbor as a switchboard operator. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, rock collecting, wood burning, and anything outdoors. He was artistic and enjoyed anything artsy.
