Jessica Lee Findlay Riley, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at home surrounded by family.
Jessica was born on May 9, 1989, in Provo, Utah, to Russell and Coral Lee Findlay. She was the oldest of four children and she learned how to nurture and care for others at an early age. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School and continued her education at Brigham Young University, where she received her BS in Elementary Education.
She met her sweetheart, Bradford Riley, while attending Brigham Young University. They were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on July 30, 2010. They are the parents of two little girls,
Faith and Autumn. Jessica’s greatest love was her husband and daughters. She was a dedicated wife and mother, and loved the many adventures they shared together. She valued education and taught elementary school for four years. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, sewing, crafting, and traveling. She was gifted with the ability to connect with others and was always looking for ways to lighten the burdens of others, even amid her own significant challenges.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, parents, and siblings.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Salem West Stake Center, 695 South 300 West, Salem, UT 84653. A viewing will be held starting at 10:00 a.m. at the church, prior to the funeral. Interment will be at Salem City Cemetery

January 8, 2021 at 4:52 amI am so very sorry for the loss of your Jessica! I did not know her well. We were actually paired as roommates at the Make it Yourself With Wool at Nationals back in 2004 in AZ and she recognized my dad from Chesterfield Idaho. I knew her for a week yet she was so kind to me! I know she will be missed dearly and you and your family are in my prayers during this difficult time.

January 9, 2021 at 5:55 amJessica my sweet cousin, you are far too young to leave this life and you will be greatly missed by many people who love you! Especially, by your wonderful husband and beautiful daughters. Sending hugs, loves and prayers that they will be strengthened with greater faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement. I pray this separation will be but a brief period of time. What a wonderful life and legacy you left behind. You returned back to God with honor! You’re a true angel now???? Until we meet again at Jesus’s feet! Love your cousin Diane Albrechtsen ❤

January 10, 2021 at 9:07 pmI had the privilege of teaching with Jessica when she was an intern. We were instant friends. She was such a joy to be around. She had such a fun personality and we spent most of our time together laughing. We slowly lost touch when she moved away and I was heartbroken to hear of her passing. Jessica was a wonderful teacher and an even better friend. She was a beautiful person inside and out. My love and prayers are with Brad, her beautiful daughters, and her family.
