Jesse Grant Rowley made it to the other side on October 6, 2020, in Provo, Utah, surrounded by loving family. Jesse died at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Hospital in Provo, Utah, as the result of injuries sustained in a tragic automobile accident. Jesse was born on February 12, 1984, in Jackson, Wyoming, to Cris Carlson and James Edwin Rowley.
Jesse was a mechanic by trade and had a passion for hot rods and pretty much anything with an engine. He respected anything old school and had a fascination with fixing up chainsaws of all sorts.
Jesse’s biggest love was being a dad. He deeply loved his daughter, Kendra, and cherished the time he was able to spend with her and his loved ones. He could bring laughing tears and smiles to anyone with his jokester ways and mischievous personality. He lived life on the edge, and to the fullest, making moments and memories with all who were lucky enough to know him.
Jesse’s heart was genuine and he was known to give and to help anyone he could. He was a very strong individual who battled with heart and health problems for years, but did not let that hold him back. Jesse was a very hard worker with strong work ethics and outworked many people despite his health problems. Jesse left this world too soon. He was loved and was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. His memory will always be with the many people he met along his journey.
Jesse, we will forever miss your jokes, quick wit, contagious laughs, smiles and sense of humor.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Cris Carlson; daughter, Kendra Rowley; very good friend, Keri Gull; four sisters: Cody Rowley Meeks (Jed), Barbara Rowley, Beckie Rowley and Tina Rowley Green (Cliff); and five brothers: Bob Rowley (Carolyn), Billy Rowley (Debbie), James Rowley, Johnny Rowley, and Joe Rowley. Jesse was preceded in death by his father, James Edwin Rowley; stepfather, John Carlson; and grandfathers, Bill DeGraw and James Grant Rowley.
A Celebration of Life, honoring Jesse, will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at 275 South 1400 East. Spanish Fork, Utah.
