Jared H Reynaud, 47, of Santaquin, Utah, passed away peacefully in his home on November 4, 2019.
He was born to Arthur Lee and Phyllis Hope Gipson Reynaud in Payson, Utah, on March 18, 1972. Jared spent two years in Kindergarten at the Park View Elementary School. While there, it was discovered that Jared had dyslexia. He was then enrolled at the Rees Elementary School in Spanish Fork, Utah because they had the best program for students with his learning needs. After that, he attended middle school, junior high, and high school in Payson, Utah. He graduated from Payson High in 1991. Jared refused to let his learning disability define him or limit what he could accomplish. He defeated his disability by earning an Associate Degree from Utah Valley State College in Electrical Automation.
Jared was an electrician for Mega Diamond Industrial Equipment Supplier, where he put his hard earned degree to good use. He was a loyal employee for over twenty years.
Jared was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served as a missionary for the Church in the Seattle Washington Mission from October 1991 to October 1993. He would often share the experiences he had there.
Jared loved the outdoors. On his days off he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, reading, cooking, watching NASCAR, tinkering on cars, road trips, and spending time with his family and friends. He was never one to ever sit still.
Jared is survived by his parents, Arthur Lee and Phyllis Hope Gipson Reynaud of Payson, Utah, by six siblings: Scott Reynaud of Payson, Utah; Lesa R. Mayes (Neil) of Lovell, Wyoming; Troy Reynaud of Draper, Utah; Jason “Gus” Reynaud of Draper, Utah; Todd Reynaud (Josie) of Payson, Utah; and Sara Reynaud of Payson, Utah, and nine loving nieces and nephews also survive him.
A visitation will be held on Monday evening, November 11, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home located at 587 S 100 W, Payson, Utah. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Meeting House located at 1138 E 100 S, Payson, Utah. Interment will be at the Payson Cemetery.

May 22, 2023 at 10:04 pmI just found out today that Jared had passed away. I know it’s been several years, but I still wanted to offer my condolences to his family. We were missionary companions in the Washington Seattle Mission. He was a kind and unassuming person.
