Ian Jax Burgess, 27 of Eureka, Utah passed away in the early morning hours of December 26, 2024. Ian was born June 14, 1997, to Kimberlie Dawn Burgess and Kevin Swenson. Ian was also raised with the help of his loving stepfather, Jonathan Whitesell.
Ian is survived by his precious daughter Paisley Dawn Burgess and siblings: Bowen C Whitesell, Josie Swenson, Keeley Holt, Ashley Shepherd, Amanda Swenson, Chad Swenson, and Colton Robertson.
Ian loved making memories and going on adventures with his family and his friends. He loved fishing, hiking, camping, hunting, rock hounding, concerts, and playing games. Ian was passionate about and loved music, especially playing the guitar. He’d play until his fingers bled, and when he was playing for you, his face would glow with pure happiness. Ian’s most precious gift is when he and Mckenzie blessed us with their daughter Paisley and was most definitely happiest when he was with his family and friends. His partners in crime would most definitely be his brother Bowen and his best friend and brother Austin Pugh. Ian is so greatly loved. We will never be the same and we miss you. Until we meet again my wonderful son.
An open house will be held starting at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Walker Funeral Home located at 587 South 100 West in Payson, Utah. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
