April 10, 2026 at 12:58 amI am deeply saddened to hear about the sudden and tragic passing of Charu Prabhu.
For me, this is not just a loss of a respected leader—it is the loss of a dear well-wisher, guide, and friend. Over the past 10 years, Charu Prabhu has been a constant source of inspiration and support in growing the Festival of India and Festival of Colours in Thunder Bay. His encouragement, vision, and generous heart helped us move forward with confidence and faith.
I have always admired his pioneering spirit. What he created in Spanish Fork, Utah—bringing together tens of thousands of people every year for the Festival of Colours—is nothing short of extraordinary. His efforts in establishing beautiful temples in Utah have given thousands a place for peace, devotion, and spiritual connection.
Yet beyond all these achievements, what I will remember most is his humility, kindness, and willingness to help others without expecting anything in return.
His absence leaves a deep void in our hearts and in the community he helped build.
My heartfelt prayers are with his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
🙏 May the Lord grant him eternal peace and give strength to all who are grieving.
