It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our daughter, sister, niece, co-worker and friend, Heidi Lee Hone, who passed away on October 11, 2024, due to surgical complications.
Heidi was born on June 3, 1988, and was a beautiful person with a tender heart and dazzling smile. She had a wonderfully wicked sharp sense of humor along with a bag of never-ending movie quotes and was always up for a game of “Name That Movie”. She was a hard worker who loved and excelled at her work in the medical field. Her sincere, calm and warm demeanor made her a favorite with the doctors she worked with and the patients she cared for.
She had an immense love of the outdoors and one of her great joys was spending time riding her beloved horse, “Moose” and enjoying the freedom and beauty of nature. She was active with the Springville Riding Club and participated in both individual, team and judging events.
She loved animals and spending time working with her dad on his farm. She learned how to take care of vehicles, operate heavy equipment and machinery and for the most part, stay on the good side of “the boss”.
She persevered through many challenges and life changes but never lost hope or the desire to do her best at whatever she was doing and was always willing to help anyone in need.
She will be greatly missed by friends and family, but we cherish our memories of time spent together. We will remember and smile whenever we encounter a set of stairs that while charging “San Juan Hill” it’s always up, Teddy.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Spanish Fork. 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660. A graveside service will happen the following day Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairview Pioneer Cemetery. Cemetery Road, Fairview, Utah 84629.
