Guy Curtis Petersen (1952-2021) passed away in Payson, Utah. He was born in California to Curtis and Linnea Petersen. He served as a Telecommunications Specialist in the United States Air Force and took great pride in serving his country.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rhonda, his four children, Aaron (Patricia), Karen, Ben (Amber), and Jake, six grandchildren Nickolas, Danielle, Spencer, Savannah, Tyler, and Ashley. He is also survived by his siblings Ron (Ramona), Brad, Sharee (Kent), and Linda (Bob).
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Valerie.
The family would like to thank the ICU team and staff at Mountain View Hospital for the great care and compassion they provided both for Guy and for his loved ones during such a difficult time.
Guy loved learning and studying history and spent a great deal of time exploring his family’s genealogy.
Guy will be dearly missed for his quiet spirit, his dry sense of humor, and for always helping family.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.

February 18, 2021 at 1:47 amI am so sorry. I can’t even think of the right to say. I have know Guy for most of my life and he was such a dear friend to me. I have know him since high school and that is a long time to know a person. He was such a kind and loving person who loved his family and friends. My dad and mom loved him also and thought he was such a kind person and loving person. So many memories and the tears just won’t stop!! Love to all the family.
