Gary Rigtrup Bradford October 31, 1933 - February 13, 2023

Gary Rigtrup Bradford, our loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his winter home in St. George on February 13, 2023 at age 89. He was born October 31, 1933, in Spanish Fork, Utah. He was the fourth son born to Andrew and Myrl Rigtrup Bradford.

Gary was raised in a loving and hardworking family and spent his youth working on the family farm. He completed his education in 1952 at Spanish Fork High School, where he met his high school sweetheart, Rebecca (Becky) Jones. They married November 19th that same year in the Salt Lake City Temple.

After marriage, he worked for WW Clyde for a short time then continued on to become one of the first employees of Geneva Rock Products. After a successful career and over 40 years with the company, he retired in 1996.

Gary and Becky were blessed with five daughters and were happily married for forty-eight years before Becky passed away in 2000.

He was lucky enough to find love for a second time when he met Diane Beckstrom in 2002. They were married on May 4th of that year and he was quickly welcomed into her family, where they became a second family to him.

Gary was an avid BYU and Utah Jazz fan, and he loved golfing, camping, playing cards, traveling and spending time with friends and family. He and Diane spent their years back and forth between Orem, Bear Lake, and St. George. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Gary is survived by his wife Diane, his daughters Andrea (Dave) De St Jeor, Allison (Chad) Kirk, Alisa (Dean) Rasmussen, Carrie (Kerry) Brock and Jana (Steven) Kerdock. Fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. His siblings Carol (Jim) Reed and Glen (Trudy) Bradford. Diane’s children, Lisa (Don) Dunn, Julie (Blake) Bills, Kirby (Jeana) Beckstrom and Milo (Judi) Beckstrom. Twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his first wife Becky, his parents, and his four brothers, Keith, Ned, Darrell, and Ross.
