Fred was a lifelong resident of Goshen, and served his community on town council for four years, as Mayor for eight years, Fire Chief for 30 years, and with the Goshen Valley Riding Club.
Fred enjoyed his mornings at the coffee shop, and cherished time spent at his ranch in Scofield. He had many hobbies like leather working, gardening, and trap shooting. Fred was a sportsman and taught his family how to hunt. He enjoyed the calming beauty of sunset and being outdoors.

March 1, 2022 at 5:05 pmI remember going to the service station as a kid. Fred would always inflate an inner tube for me. I would use this to float down the creek at the springs south of Goshen canyon. He did this for all us kids back in the early 1970’s.
