Frank V Cloward December 13, 1947 - June 11, 2020

Frank V Cloward, 72, of Spanish Fork, passed away June 11, 2020.  He was born on December 13, 1947, to Edward “Bunny” and Luwanna “Susie” Cloward.  He was raised in Salem, Utah, where he learned the value of working hard, and passed his work ethic onto his family.  He attended and graduated from Spanish Fork High School.  He then served a two-year LDS mission in the San Diego, CA mission.  He married Renae Argyle on November 13, 1970, and was later divorced.  He later married Barbara Bell on February 24, 2001, and then was sealed in the Provo, Utah LDS Temple on March 6, 2004.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many leadership positions. One of his favorite callings was teaching in the Primary. He taught those around him by the life that he led – his work ethic, integrity, helping others, and sharing his love for his Savior, Jesus Christ.
He owned and operated Frank’s Frostop from 1979 to 1993.  He worked for H.E. Davis & Sons, and then went on to work various truck driving jobs, with the most recent at South Valley Solid Waste District and Key Renters Property Management.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; and their children: Justin (Kara) Cloward, Ryan (Bonnie) Cloward, Hayley Vincent, Tish Larsen (Cody Strickland), Jeff (Arisa) Cox, Candice (Fa’ama’sofa) Finai; 25 grandchildren; a sister, Vivian Johnson, and a brother, Gary (Lanka) Smith; as well as many friends and relatives.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Shirl O. Johnson.

I always liked Frank. He treated me with kindness and fairness, and I think he even stuck up for me when I was accosted by bullies at school. If not, I am certain that he would have saved me from them! I loved his subtle humor. He was a good friend to my parents, Ron and Lorraine Davis, when they lived on Cal Pack Drive. I am certain that he is happy and already busy on the other side of the veil. With love, to Barbara and family, Dennis and Jan Davis
