Fawn Ingrid Nordrum Christopher of Spanish Fork, Utah, passed away on August 10, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Nonnie Larsen and Jackie Soderquist. Fawn is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, David, as well as her children, Tara (Jerem) Eyre, Tansy (Jason) Westenskow, Jesse (Stephanie) Christopher, and Ginger (Lane) Leishman, and 12 grandchildren.
Fawn was born in Red Bank, New Jersey, on January 10, 1952, to Oluf Ibsen Nordrum and Dorothea Marion Cook. She attended Rick’s College and then Brigham Young University, where she met her husband, David Christopher. They were married on April 20, 1974, in the Provo Utah Temple.
Fawn graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in theater and loved using her talents to serve the community. She volunteered with the Spanish Fork Arts Council and the Spanish Fork Community Theater for over 30 years. She and David brought the summer productions to life through directing, stage makeup, and costumes. She was a true community staple, helping wherever she could.
Fawn and David co-hosted the A Healthier You radio show for 27 years and continued hosting it as a podcast until her passing. She served as correspondence secretary for Dr. John R. Christopher, learning at his feet as she answered every letter. She worked alongside David teaching about herbs and natural healing throughout their married life.
Some of her favorite memories were made traveling the world with family, lecturing with David, chaperoning the Utah Valley Children’s Choir, and dancing with the Oquirrh Mountain Cloggers.
Fawn served in many capacities in her church, bringing her love and organizational skills to each one. She especially cherished her time as a temple worker in the Payson Temple, as Relief Society President, and in her many years as Activities Director.
She found joy in sharing produce from her bountiful garden with family and friends. Her garden was always filled with favorites like tomatoes, zucchini, raspberries, grapes, herbs, and peaches.
Fawn was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She looked forward to having grandchildren her entire life, and they quickly became the highlight of her world. She attended as many of their activities as possible and often texted them to check in. She would read the books they were reading to better connect with them. Her closets were full of toys, books, and games, making her house a favorite for all her grandkids.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Spanish Fork Utah Stake Center, 1006 East 200 South, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held at the church from 1:30–2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

August 13, 2025 at 6:32 pmI interacted with Fawn through the years in so many ways. Our children were in the Utah Valley Children’s Choir together and we were chaperones on many of their tours. My family loved doing Spanish Fork Community Theatre with her and her husband. I worked with her during the Payson Temple Open House on the usher committee. And when I served as Matron of the Payson Temple she was a dedicated ordinance worker. She always had a smile and a kind word to say whenever you saw her. She was a positive and happy person. I will miss her friendship. Love and prayers go out to her family.
Sincerely, Bonny Duffin

August 13, 2025 at 8:20 pmI am sitting here tearful. I had no idea Fawn was ill. We were the best of friends through our high school years especially our senior year.
We were also friends as very young children. I have a photo of us as five year olds visiting Santa.
She was a treasure as a teen best friend.
All our married years we exchanged Christmas cards with Fawns being the most creative of all. When we were young her mother passed away from cancer. It was a difficult time as well as difficult in her high school years, missing her mom.. But Fawn had a dad who adored her
. A common thread always came through in all of Fawns correspondence over 53 years. Her love of Jesus and her trust in Him. Her love and pride in her family, were shared in every holiday letter. Fawns grand children were her life’s Desert, sweet gifts from her daughters and son. Thank you for sharing Fawns obituary on Facebook.
If one of Fawns daughters have the time and ability in time to share with me about her mother’s end of life journey you can message me on Facebook or email me.
I would appreciate it. If you would enjoy hearing some of our teenage shenanigans all in fun I would be happy to write and share back my address . Denise Ecenroad

August 16, 2025 at 2:05 amFawn was such a huge part of my formative years and I love her so much. So many memories. Even as an adult, whenever I visited, she was always the first to run up for a hug and to talk. It always struck me how she sincerely wanted to know how I was doing. Her ability to handle real life was unparalleled and I knew I could always trust her. My husband only met her a few times when we visited but she left a huge impression on him and she was quickly one of his favorite person to visit. We sincerely love each of you and send our deepest condolences. We wish we could be there in person but our sending our love to you from from here in Texas.
