Our beautiful Emily Jordyn Docter has been received into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father once more. Emily passed away at her home in Spanish Fork, Utah on December 25th, 2023.
Emily was born to David Docter and Megann Mafoa on November 14, 2000, and her birth brought so much light and joy into the world. Even as a child, people were drawn to Emily’s spark for life, her spunk, and her generous heart, and that never changed. She had a gift for taking care of others and never hesitated to step in to help someone who needed her. She loved those around her fiercely and was eager to experience what life had to offer. Emily had an adventurous spirit. She loved to travel and explore, and she often said that she felt most at home on the beach in Hawaii. Emily loved her two sons very much and expressed her unending joy and gratitude for being their mother. The light of her beautiful soul will forever be a part of those who loved Emily. She will be missed.
Emily is survived by her two sons, Vincent Leo Todhunter and Fenix Leo Todhunter, her father, David Christian Docter, and her siblings Michael Christian John Docter, Elijah Pita Docter, Alexis Lily Carter, Talia Morgan Carter, and Connor Gage Carter, as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones who feel her loss deeply. She is preceded in death by her mother, Megann Mafoa, and by her grandmother, Patrice Pooi.
A viewing will be held at 541 W. Center St, Spanish Fork, UT on Jan 2, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Jan 3, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:45 am. The funeral service will be Jan 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at the same location.
