Eileen E Evans (I) February 25, 1943 - April 2, 2024

Eileen E Evans, a radiant soul filled with wit, love, and spirit, embarked on her heavenly journey on April 2, 2024, leaving a legacy of laughter, love, and warmth. Born on February 25, 1943, in Helena, MT, Eileen was a woman of many talents, each of which she pursued with unwavering passion and fervor. Her infectious laughter and light-hearted spirit touched those around her, making even ordinary moments extraordinary. As Mark Twain aptly put it, “The secret of success is making your vocation your vacation.” Eileen E embraced this philosophy, finding joy in her work as a lunch lady, where she nourished not only the bodies but also the souls of those she served.

Eileen was a devoted wife to Eldon Evans (Pete), whom she married on November 21, 1959. Their love story was an enchanting tale of companionship, respect, and mutual adoration. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and endless stories. Alongside her loving husband, Eileen E was a doting mother to Tina Bowers, Cristie Ostler, and James Evans. She was particularly passionate about being a grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life – bingo, bowling, and cooking. Her culinary creations were a manifestation of her love and affection for her family.

However, Eileen’s journey was not without loss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Evangaline Bickel, her older brother Harlow Bickel, and her beloved granddaughter, Malynda Adams. It was her spirited nature and innate resilience that saw her through these difficult times, her ability to find joy and humor in every situation serving as an inspiration to all who knew her.

Eileen’s departure leaves a void that will never be filled. Yet, her indomitable spirit and relentless positivity will continue to resonate within the hearts of those she left behind. We encourage friends and family to come share their memories of Eileen at a Celebration of Life to be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Elks Lodge in Provo 1000 South University Ave, Provo, UT 84601.
