Earl John Gull May 28, 2019

Earl John Gull, 91, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, left his earthly life on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 to be reunited with many beloved family members. Earl was born November 23, 1927 in Spanish Fork, Utah to John Bryant and Rosetta Hanks Gull. He grew up in Spanish Fork and attended schools there.

Earl married Carol Ruth Johns on July 10, 1948 in Ely, Nevada. They raised a large family and though later divorced, they remained good friends.

He was employed by Union Pacific Railroad, Tooele Army Depot, US Steel, and he delivered freight from the rail depot to the local businesses in the valley, which was one of his favorite things to do.

Birds and fish were of special interest to him. He loved his aquarium and had aviaries. He loved to give tours of his aviaries and especially enjoyed having scout and community groups visit. Earl enjoyed caring for his yard and took pride in keeping it nice. He loved mowing the lawn and when he got a new snow blower, he cleared the whole block! Earl loved children, especially his grandchildren. They will miss him so much.

He was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and for 30 years he set up tables and chairs with several others, for every event. He was a faithful home teacher and supported each of his grandchildren on their missions.

He is survived by his children, Dennis Earl (Ann) Gull; Melvin –deceased (Sherrie) Gull; Deanna Gull (Bob) McKell; Anita Gull; and Bradley Gene (Traci) Gull, all of Spanish Fork, Utah. He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren who love him dearly.
