March 16, 2020 at 1:58 pmI had the privilege to work with Duane when he was at Kaiser. Not only was he a great person to work with but he was simply a “great person” to be around. I can honestly say I never heard anyone say one negative word about Duane. He was that well liked and respected by everyone.
I especially liked his sense of humor. We had some great times together. I will miss our conversations, his optimism, his wisdom and his friendship. He was special and I am thankful I have great memories of our friendship.
Our prayers to Duane’s family and friends.

October 9, 2022 at 12:16 amI worked with Duane at Kaiser Aluminum in Oxnard CA. 1976-2002. Duane wore many hats there, Engineeer, Safety and Health Coordinator were just a couple. If you brought Duane a problem he would find a solution. Good Job Duane and Thanks for Your Patience

August 23, 2023 at 6:04 pmI was fortunate to work with Duane when he was Safety and Health Manager for corporate audits at Kaiser Aluminum. We visited many plants together as part of the audit teams. Duane had a great sense of humor. He was smart, hard working, funny and loved his family and his Lord. I miss Duane. My heartfelt condolences, thoughts and prayers (albeit belatedly) to Cindy and his entire family.
