Douglas (Dadoo) Arthur Johnson passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 68, on the morning of December 7, 2023. He was born to Arthur Sigurdur Johnson and Marian Irene Brown Johnson, in Payson, Utah on August 12, 1955. He enjoyed working on anything with a motor, and he also enjoyed painting vehicles. Doug took pride in everything he did. He would help anyone who needed it and would give the clothes off his back. He touched so many lives. His other enjoyable times were spent with his family and friends, going to the sand dunes and four-wheeling.
Doug is survived by Michelle and his children: Matt, Miranda and C.J., Clifford and Tiffani, Nancy and Gunner, Ashley and Kyler, Cory and Sadie, son-in-law Jaramie (and his fiancée, Chealsea); many bonus children; as well as his estranged children, Zeb and Dusty. Also survived by his brothers and sisters: Vina and Mike Foster, George and Vicky Johnson, Lil and Terry Shepherd, Jack and Val Johnson, and Margaret Upshaw. Additionally survived by 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Doug is preceded in death by his parents; his step-son, Alex Hebner; as well as many other loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday early-evening, December 16, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Ponderosa Building at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds, 475 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660.
