On Sunday June 22, 2025, our loving mother, grandmother and friend Donna Jean Henningson passed away at the age of 72 in Spanish Fork, Utah. Donna was born on June 7, 1953 in Price, UT, the youngest daughter to Nola Lucy Anderson and Tom Corbett McBroon.
Donna married Kenneth Neil Henningson in February of 1968 and had two sons, Kenneth Allen Henningson and Tom Correy Henningson. They later divorced and she married Cecil Lee Henningson on May 6, 1975, they had one son Cecil Dustin Henningson and she gained two Step Children Donny Henningson and Pauline (Henningson) Maxfield.
Donna was raised in Emery UT, until her teenage years where she moved to Salt Lake City, UT. After her youngest son was born Donna relocated to East Carbon, UT where she raised her family and made countless friends.
While the boys were young, Donna spent a great deal of time with her family. Whether they were camping, riding dirt bikes, riding four wheelers, fishing, loading everyone in the camper shell for a road trip or hunting. All while trying to keep 3 adventurous boys in line.
Donna was an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After raising her three sons she lived her life to the fullest spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved being able to go watch them play sports, attend school activities, graduations and get the opportunity to spoil them whenever she had the chance.
Donna had a talent with crocheting and could make pretty much anything she set her mind to. She loved to diamond paint and watch craft videos to get ideas to come up with her next project. She also had a love for Crime TV and if she wasn’t crafting she was catching up on one show or another. Donna had an amazing sense of humor and was extremely witty. She could keep us all laughing for hours on end. She set an amazing example being able to find the humor in yourself and how to laugh your way through the tough times.
Donna had the chance to go to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico a couple of times the last couple of years and had one of the best times of her life being able to parasail over the Pacific Ocean. She loved the experience and talked about it until the day she passed.
Surviving Donna are her three sons, Kenneth Allen (Linda) Henningson of Crescent City, CA, Tom Correy (Jodie) Henningson of Payson, UT, Cecil Dustin (Ashley) Henningson of Salem, UT, Donnie (Robyn)
Henningson Sigurd, UT and Pauline Maxfield Salina, UT. Along with her numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Nola and Tom McBroon, her brother, Tom McBroon, and sisters Susan Henningson and Charlene McBroon. .
As per Donna’s request no services will be held, her wishes were to be cremated and let out of the “damn box.” We invite you to remember her life, love and humor with the memories and experiences you shared with her throughout her life.
