June 26, 2023 at 6:40 pmRoy will be missed.
We appreciated the opportunity to serve him and his loving concern he gave back to us.
We are grateful for the fun times we had camping, shooting, and HAM radio-ing together.
Our son enjoyed mowing his lawn and it was fun to see him and our daughter working together as he taught her how to mow too.
Roy blessed our lives and we are grateful we could be his neighbors for the short time we shared.

June 26, 2023 at 11:00 pmAdam,
Thank you to you & your family for how good & kind you were to my bro. He really enjoyed your family & was glad you were his neighbors. He also, was extremely grateful for the help you all had given to him. His spirits were always high after visiting with you & the family. He never could say enough good about you all! I know how much it also had meant to him be able to share with Bentley his talents & hobbies with HAM radios, shooting guns & reloading. He always sang Bentley’s praises. He said what a “fine young man he was” & said how he knew “he could always trust Bentley 100% with reloading”. He also, loved when the younger kids came to play with Zeus & Ana (the pup) & all their little giggles while getting loved by the dogs.

June 27, 2023 at 9:53 pmLife was an adventure growing up with Derick! It was the kind of life kids currently can only dream of, or experience in video games. It was: hikes, guns, horses, motorcycles, fist fights, tubing in the creek, knives, skiing, feats of strength, dogs, CB radios, weapons, hooky-bobbing, and martial arts. Never ever a dull day! Thanks for making my childhood interesting, Derick!
