Denise “DeeDee” Tanner April 20, 1953 - February 11, 2023

Denise Louise Woodhouse Tanner, age 69, passed away peacefully February 11, 2023.

DeeDee was born April 20, 1953 in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California to Donald Lee Woodhouse and Audrey Louise Sitton. The third of six children, she is loved by her siblings: Greg, Brad (Arlene), Charles (Tammi), Jennifer (Bill), Leanne (Charlie), and her step-brother, Karl (Sharel).  DeeDee is the mother of four beautiful daughters: Taunya (Steven), Rachel, Melissa, and Tiffany.  She is the grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 11 precious children.

DeeDee had many talents and loved using her creative abilities in cooking, candy-making, sewing (especially as a teenager), and making beautiful wreaths and crafts.  Some of her happiest times were spent enjoying the ocean and coastline of California. She attended Ricks College in Idaho, and Utah Technical College in Utah, and earned her Utah real estate license as a young mother.

An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, DeeDee loved her Savior and His gospel that filled her with love and hope.

DeeDee was surely met and embraced by many loved ones as she passed into eternity, including her mother, Audrey; brother, Greg; and stepmother Gay.

There will be a visitation where friends and family may gather from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660.  Her funeral service will be held at the same location at 11:00 a.m. that day.  Interment will be at Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660.
