David Rowley LeFevre May 3, 1938 - April 18, 2022

David Rowley LeFevre finished his time on earth April 18, 2022. He was born May 3, 1938 to Thomas Mills LeFevre and Viola Thelma Rowley LeFevre in Richfield, Utah. He attended elementary school in the Elsinore White Rock Schoolhouse and secondary school in Monroe, Utah graduating from South Sevier High School in 1956. He attended Utah Agriculture College (Utah State University), and graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School. He married and was sealed to his high school sweetheart, Venice Magleby, in the Manti Temple on January 31, 1958. They are parents of four children: Vivian, Linda, Michael, and Renée.

David started his career in banking in 1957, retiring from Zions Bankcorp in 1998 as a Vice President and Trust Officer. He was a faithful and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving his entire lifetime in many callings including two bishoprics, as Bishop, and as a temple ordinance worker in the Provo and Payson temples. He loved our Lord and had a firm testimony of Jesus Christ, honoring all his covenants and responsibilities.

He had a quick wit, a warm heart, and a love for life and the outdoors. He lived by three mottos: be grateful, have a positive attitude, and look at the person’s heart.

He is survived by his wife, Venice M. LeFevre; children, Vivian (Reynold) Evans, Linda LeFevre, Michael (Wendy) LeFevre, Renée (Glenn) Buchanan; 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Ronald (Afton) LeFevre, Joan Henrie, Patricia (David) Record, and John (Sheri) LeFevre.

He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Cornell Henrie, and his parents.

David and Venice visited us several times when Steve and I had young children. And we would visit them. I have sweet memories at their home and cabin. Whenever we were together, I always felt enveloped in love and acceptance. What a blessing they are! We love David and will miss him. Looking forward to the day when we will all be together again with our dear loved ones.
