Our beloved Daniel Eldon Horton was called back home to reunite with his loved ones who have passed on before him. Daniel was born June 4th, 1980, the third son of Tamara Diane Haskell and Kirk Edwin Horton.
He genuinely gave his love to his family and friends. It was this gift of love that made him a wonderful companion opened his heart to the hearts of many. To his brother Shawn he was not only a dear brother, but a lifelong best friend. Daniel was quiet until you got to know him. Those who knew him best will always.
remember him as a loyal friend with a heart of gold. He was always willing to help others and took especially good care of his loving mother Tamara. Daniel always made sure his mom had what she needed. His love for her was unconditional as was his love for all family and friends.
He graduated from Payson High School in 1999. He then followed in his father’s footsteps and became a journeyman meat cutter for Albertsons for 7 years. He worked at Liberty Press as pressman roll tender for 12 years. Daniel was currently employed in the meat department at Payson Market.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking and photography. He especially loved visiting places he had never been before. He also liked nice vehicles and took pride in maintaining them and keeping them spotless.
His passing leaves us without our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and dear friend.
Funeral services will be held at West Mountain 3rd Ward, 902 West 400 North, Payson, Utah on Monday, July 6th, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. till 1:00 p.m. A visitation will be held prior from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Payson City Cemetery, 400 North 800 East, Payson, Utah.
