Born on January 17th, 1969 in Provo, Utah, Danny was a man of many layers. He possessed a genuine love for his family, a deep affection for his grandkids, and a special bond with his wife. He found immense joy in spending time with them, creating countless precious memories that will forever be treasured.
Danny grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah, and graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1987. During his high school years, he discovered his passion for basketball and baseball, excelling on the court and field. Sports became a significant part of his life, shaping his competitive spirit. Which later in life sparked his joy of competitive body building. This also helped his son find joy in the gym and competitions himself.
Danny served an LDS mission in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where he shared his message of love and hope. The experience had a profound impact on him, shaping his character and instilling values that guided him throughout his life. Upon his return, Danny joined his father in the family business, Blaine Evans Trucking, where he served as the General Manager for 32 years. He also ventured into entrepreneurship and ran his own trucks under DLE Inc.
In 1991, Danny married Jennifer McIntosh, and together they welcomed five children into their lives. Though their marriage ended in divorce, their shared love for their children remained unwavering. Danny found love again and married Pamela Leifson, the love of his life, on August 14th, 2015. They made their home in Salem, Utah, where they embarked on various projects together, including finishing their basement and creating a beautiful backyard oasis.
Danny was a loving grandfather, finding immense joy and fulfillment in the presence of his 15 grandchildren. They were the light of his life, and his face would light up with joy every time he was surrounded by their laughter and personalities. His love and guidance will forever shape their lives.
Beyond his professional pursuits and family life, Danny had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies. Golfing provided him with moments of relaxation and friendly competition, while shooting and collecting guns satisfied his passion for marksmanship. Additionally, camping trips with his beloved dogs, Zeus and Brick, allowed him to immerse himself in nature and create lasting memories. While Danny had his share of flaws, his struggles did not overshadow his essential goodness. He was a man who strived to make the best of his circumstances and learned important life lessons along the way. Despite his imperfections, he displayed moments of kindness, compassion, and generosity that made a significant impact on those fortunate enough to witness them.
Danny was preceded in death by his sister Lisa Evans, mother Linda Lee (Baum) Evans, grandchild Aiden, and his previous wife Jennifer McIntosh. We find peace in knowing that he was welcomed into the arms of his mother and best bud Zeus. Danny's legacy lives on through the love and memories he shared with them.
He is survived by his father, Blaine Evans, and his sisters, Teresa Argyle, Andrea Gardiner, and Suzee Anderson. Danny's children, Lindsey (Casey) Grover, Brock (Lindsey) Evans, Kate (Ted) Dalton, Kole (Bryce) Goff, and Kade (Miranda) Evans, will forever carry his spirit within them. Additionally, his two stepchildren, Angela (Joe) Vockler and Matthew Gilley, were blessed to have him as a guiding presence in their lives. Danny's memory will also be cherished by his 15 adoring grandchildren: Caselyn, McKoy, Corbin, Daycen, Veda, Taylor, Anaston, Hudson, Zakaree, Ozzlyn, Ellie, Isla, Isaiah, Savannah, and Emmah.
