Our favorite cowboy Dallin Kevin Kemp rode off into the sunset on July 6, 2022. We were blessed to have Dallin with us for 29 years, during which he lived life to the fullest. Dallin lived his life making all of those around him feel loved by sharing his passions and gifts.
He was born in Logan, Utah to the parents of Kevin and Jean Kemp with an immediate love for horses, which only grew stronger. He was blessed to grow up with his siblings Jadi, Colby, and Conner Kemp; who shared a very special bond throughout life that they will forever cherish.
Dall rode his first horse at age two and mentally never got off. He never wavered from his goal in life to be a world champion all-around cowboy and every year he said this was his year. During his life he was blessed and surrounded by countless people that loved, supported, and encouraged him. In every aspect of his life, he gave the fullest.
One of his mottos was, “all gas and no brakes”. Dall lived his life that way whether he was riding a horse, dirt bike, surfboard, or teaching kids how to rope. He enjoyed every second of what he was doing and delighted in sharing his passion with others while helping them learn to rope or ride at every level. Dall was everyone’s biggest cheerleader, even if they were on the other team, he loved seeing others succeed.
Dall had a completely selfless, loving character that inspires us all to be better, love harder, judge less, and give more. In true Dallin fashion, his final act of service was donating his strong body. Dallin’s heart of gold, liver, kidneys, and pancreas continue to live on through others, making the world a better place.
In addition to the lives who live on because of Dallin, he is survived by his father Kevin Kemp, stepmother Renee Kemp, mother Jean Panlener Kemp; siblings Jadi and Shawn Faucher, Colby and Brynn Kemp, Conner Kemp, step-siblings Mallory, Megan, Nathan, Brett, and Tyler Goodman, grandparents Karl and Michelle Kemp, Rick and Mary Panlener, uncles, aunts, cousins, and everyone else who had the privilege of knowing Dallin. Dallin was preceded in death by his grandmother Kay Kemp who welcomed him with open arms.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration Of Life for Dallin to be held Wednesday evening, July 13, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Salem West Stake Church, 695 South 300 West, Salem, Utah 84653. On Thursday morning, July 14, 2022, there will be a visitation, also at the church, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service, in the chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Salem City Cemetery.

July 14, 2022 at 4:16 pmDallin was one of my ABSOLUTE favorite people! So kind and polite. All the Kemp boys have the best manners! I LOVED when they would come into Chevron! Dallin always expressed such care for others and seemed genuinely interested in any conversation we were having. I remember him telling me years ago that when he found “the one” he would bring her in for me to approve of! He had the most amazing smile and sense of humor. Thank you Kevin and Jean for raising such a wonderful man!
I know he is leaving a huge hole everywhere….

February 6, 2023 at 8:39 pmOh Jeanie,
I just found out your precious baby boy was called back home in the loving arms of Heaven.
My heart is grieved knowing the pain and anguish that is within your very soul.
How I pray for you and your family. May Fathers blessings pour down upon you and embrace your breaking hearts.
I know there is not a single thing any mortal man can say to help bring comfort. Yet I know Father is with you all. Your beautiful child is loved beyond measure therefore he will surely be grieved beyond measure.
Such a tribute to your treasured child,
you loved and taught and raised.
Remembering your family from many years ago. I’ll never forget the tender love you gave your babies. Your beautiful smile as you spoke of them, that twinkle of love that sparked from your eyes. You left a lasting impression upon my own heart.
Your sweet cowboy has his mommy’s heart for eternity.
Much love,
My long lost friend
Ann
