Dale Nielson Koyle, 71, or better known as Crazy Cow and Santa passed away at home in Spanish Fork, Utah on December 3, 2025, from heart and kidney failure. Dale was born to LeRoy and Norma Koyle on April 21, 1954, in Payson, Utah.

He and his three siblings were raised in Spanish Fork, Utah whereas a young boy, he enjoyed helping his dad and mom with the chickens on the family farm on Canyon Road.

On New Year’s Eve in 1979, Dale was introduced to Charlene Youd, they were married on February 14, 1981, in Lake Shore, Utah. They were later sealed in the Provo, Utah temple on April 28th, 1984. Together they were blessed with four children and five grandkids.

He was well known throughout the community and was well liked and respected.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. One of his favorite callings was having the opportunity to serve with Charlene as missionaries at Camp Koholowo.

Dale loved his grandkids. They were his pride and joy. He loved camping and traveling with his family. Whether it was on a cruise to Alaska, down to Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo or a Sunday drive up the canyon. He looked forward to the fishing trips with his buddies and shootin’ the breeze with friends and neighbors. Everyone knew Dale. You couldn’t go anywhere with him, without running into someone he knew.
