Dale was born to Ben M and Sherill Kjelstrom Watnes on September 27, 1954. He passed away peacefully at his home on October 18, 2020 surrounded by family.

Dale married Debbie Boutwell on August 25, 1973. They have two sons Jason Dale and Aaron Michael (Tara). Dale and Debbie also raised their granddaughter Justice Debra.

Dale was an Eagle Scout and an accomplished craftsman. He could envision a project and make it happen. There was not anything he could not build or repair. He was a mechanic by trade.

He is survived by his loving wife Debbie, their two sons, brothers, David, SLC; Paul, Genera, IL; sisters Terry Smallwood , Cincinnati, OH; Karen Marin, Cedar Rapids, IA; and Robin Painter, West Jordan, UT; his grandchildren, Justice, Aaron Jr (AJ), Cesar, Angel, Aceycia, Neveah, Hunter, and Leonna, 1 great grandson Maverick James, and 2 great granddaughters Aleiah and Harlow.

Dale will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held later.
