Cyndy Jane Hendrickson returned to her Heavenly Father on October 23, 2020, at the age of 63. Cyndy was born on November 14, 1956, in Salt Lake City, to David Poll and Jane Kimball Lamb. She was reunited with her brother, Jonathan Poll, and father, Les Lamb. Survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Dave Hendrickson. Lovingly remembered by her children: Desirae Sommers (Danny), Amber Nilsson, Autumn Sommers (Austin), Tyler Hendrickson, Jared Hendrickson (Cassity); and her 4 sisters and 5 brothers; as well as her 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mom was independent and self-sufficient. She showed great strength through her adversity with her heart condition, and later on, cancer. She always brought hope and encouragement to those who were lucky enough to know her. She let those in her life know their importance and value. She was a source of great comfort and support.
Our family’s most cherished memory is her amazing back scratches (scratchy backy) with mom’s famous nails. Mom loved to be barefoot. She would often show up with no shoes. Mom had many interests throughout her life, some being: crime shows, scary movies and books, gardening, her house plants, Christmas baking, shooting, spending time with family, music, and going on drives. She was artistic and expressed it through various mediums.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Salem Cemetery located at 130 E 965 S, Salem, UT 84653. Prior to the funeral, there will be a viewing from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home located at 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, UT 84660.

October 29, 2020 at 1:36 amI am so sorry for your loss. Cyndy’s passing is a terribly painful loss for everyone who knew her. She was such a dear sweet precious friend to me. I am sad beyond measure…completely heartbroken. She went through so much with her health over the years and was so strong and such a fighter, a true inspiration. I will miss her so much! I loved being able to see her when I’d go to Salt Lake. We’d spend hours talking & catching up and we always list track of time. It makes me so sad that we lost so much time together by my moving so far, but distance never wavered our friendship, and I am truly grateful for that. I’ll treasure my memories with her sharing a meal at Belgian Waffle and pie at Village Inn as well as the memories we made before I moved out of state, especially when she’d perm my hair when she lived in Orem and we’d spend the whole day together with our daughters. We had so much fun together!
She was such a special friend, so kind and selfless.I pray for your family, and may she Rest In Peace. I know she is no longer in pain and is in a better place, and I’m grateful for that, but so sad to know I will never get to see or talk to my sweet friend again.. I’m so thankful and blessed we were able to see each other one last time at her mom’s this summer. Cyndy was the most beautiful, kind, special person inside and out, she was so amazing and so good to me and such a special part of my life. I Love her So Much and will Miss Her more than I can express.????????????
