Christine Michelle Wolf, sister, aunt, daughter, cousin, friend, returned home to her loving Heavenly Father and the waiting arms of her parents. Christine was born in Payson, Utah, on June 10, 1964, to Ernest Willy Wolf, Jr. and Evy Johannessen, of Goshen, Utah. She is affectionately known as Chrissy, Crissy, Chrissie, Christy.
At an early age, Christine was diagnosed as having autism. She attended a variety of specialized schools in Provo, Utah. Many wonderful people entered her life and our lives – medical professionals, teachers, technicians, staff, bus drivers; all showed great love and compassion for us and for Christine. For them, we are forever thankful.
As an adult, Christine was re-diagnosed as having tuberous sclerosis. She has been independent enough to be able to live in the community. Her managers, caregivers, and staff have gone above and beyond, and we want to thank them for all they did for Christine. Special thanks goes to Lindon Care, Key Residential, and Chrysalis.
Chrissie’s hobbies included art, music, and travel. She loved to sing! She sang all the time. She had the opportunity to travel to Hawaii and Disneyland on a few occasions. She was a member of RAH (recreation for all handicapped). She also loved to go to the movies, go to church, go out to eat, and have her hair and nails done.
Chrissie is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the temple. Her favorite was the Payson Temple. Above all else, Chrissie loved her family and friends. Everyone who came in contact with her, loved her.
Christine is survived by her sister, Anna-Marie Bass (Dwayne); her nieces: Sara-Marie Thredgold (Cameron), Anna Yvonne Bass; her nephew, Kenneth William Bass; and cousins throughout the United States and in Norway. Christine will be reuniting with her mom, dad, and many aunts and uncles, all who have gone before her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance would be appreciated.
Death Be Not Proud
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more;
Death, thou shalt die. —John Bonne
