Carol Sue Peterson, 75, of Payson, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020. She was born on May 13, 1945 to Verl Ashton Brereton and Grace Darlene Hirst.
Carol is survived by daughter Shanna (Chad) Cushing of Mapleton; Melanie Alvey of Payson; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Nedra (Dean) Wignall, DeAnn Durrant, Glenda Frixione, Marsha (Steve) Lassen, Marilyn (Jerry) Ross and brother Steven (Marcia) Crippen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Gregory Phil Alvey; sister Colleen Thomas; and brothers Wayne Brereton, Jim Brereton, Kayle Brereton and Jack Brereton.
A private graveside service will be held.
