Carol Lynn Gillette passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021, with her husband by her bedside, at Spanish Fork Nursing and Rehab, of natural causes. Carol had resided at Spanish Fork Nursing and Rehab for four years, due to imbalance.
Carol was born on October 16, 1956, in Payson, Utah. She is survived by her husband, Charlie, and her children: Mary, Lana, and Lisa; as well as her brothers and sisters: Bob, Ed, Joe, and Shirley. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and a brother, Howard. Carol passed away 3 days before her 65th birthday.
Carol had a never-ending love for people, she was a people-person who always enjoyed the company of others. She had many challenges in her lifetime but had very dear friends who strengthened her over the years. She graduated from Snow College and served a fulltime mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania Mission. She had great satisfaction in being a missionary and was always enthused when the hymn “Called to Serve” was played in church. She had a profound love for animals, which gave her enormous comfort over the years.
Funeral Services will be held at the Spanish Fork Stake Center, 1006 East 200 South, at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 16, 2021 (her birthday).
Special thanks to the entire staff at Spanish Fork Nursing and Rehab, for the caring service they provided for Carol over the years, which was her Home Away from Home!
