Carol is my friend and I will miss her. I’m so glad I was able to have a long visit with her recently. She talked a lot about her childhood and wanting to be with Blaine again. I have great love and respect for this wonderful woman.

I’m almost at a loss for words. Carol understood me and always made me feel accepted and loved. She would look deep into my eyes and make me truly feel loved. Her cute humor and fun mannerisms I will always remember. She always contributed to the R.S. lessons with wisdom, humor, and a great understanding of the gospel. She will be missed so much.

Thank you for your always Christlike example.

I know you’ll be close by when those you love most will need you.

God speed my dear and happy friend. I’ll see you on the other side; that will be a very good day.

I’m so glad we were able to enjoy a lunch together at Olive Garden with your daughter not too long ago. You have always smiled even though I know you were hurting. We’ve been friends for along time but we’ll meet again and we will both be smiling. Love You Carol

I was so sad to hear about Carol’s passing. I remember her from my childhood days in 9th ward and she was my mom’s visiting teacher. She always had a smile for me and the rest of the kids when she came to visit, because she was my mom’s friend she was also interested in me. We crossed paths years later when she worked at Nature’s Sunshine. When I would go to visit my husband she would greet me with a smile and want to know how I was doing. I loved that about her. I know she treated all she crossed paths with like that. her goodness and kindness just radiated out of her. She will be missed by many people. Your family is in our prayers.

Sorry to be so slow writing this. I have appreciated my association with Carol although it was mainly through my sister, Lucile Ainge., and Marilyn and Phyllis Ashby. She was also positive and smiling although you knew she was probably hurting. My family goes back to knowing Carol’s Grandma Margaret who lived across from us. Karen, you were so good to her. May all of you be comforted at this time of sorrow.
