On June 6, 2024, Candace Victoria Butler left this life and returned to her creator.
Candace was born April 21, 1978, to parents John E, Sr and Julia A. Blewett. Candace and her two siblings, John E., JR and Angelique J. Blewett were raised by their single mother until she was remarried to Kim J. Frost. Although these formative years created many hardships for the family, Candace was very social and popular among her peers and eventually grew into a beautiful woman. It was during this time that she met and married her first love and best friend Brandon C. Butler. They had three children, Shaun Jordan, Brooklen, and Madison Butler. After the marriage ended in 2014, Candace gave birth to her fourth child Karsyn C. Egan in 2018, Although Candace struggled with emotional and addiction issues throughout her adult life, she loved her children and family. The love she had for her children knew no bounds and she would do absolutely anything for them.
There was a very bright, and beautiful light inside Candace. She was fun, sweet and quick to laugh and always making time to be with her children. She was a simple girl and content to be so. Candace wasn’t concerned at all with money or consumed by possessions of any kind and would share anything that she had even when she had nothing.
It is our profound hope that wherever she is now, that she knows how much she is loved and missed, that we are heartbroken with her loss.
Candace was preceded in death by her father John E. Blewett SR, her brother John E. Blewett JR, and her stepfather Kim J. Frost.
Candace is survived by her four children Shaun Jordan Butler, Brooklen V. (Matt) Myers, Madison A. Butler, and Karsyn C. Egan. Her sisters Angelique J. (Chad) Garner, Chelsea K.V. (Marc) Martin, and Rebecca (Brian) Carter, her brothers Damion J. Blewett, Mike E. (Courtney) Frost, and Shane J. (Kelli) Frost. She is also survived by her mother Julia A. Springer Frost.
Candace was a very spiritual person and studied about the arch angels daily and firmly believed in the trinity.
Her family will be celebrating Candace’s life at a private service.

Candace is so very beautiful, like a young Julie. We know this time of separation leaves you with many lonely moments in your future. Let each one embrace the joys you shared.
At this time our hearts are so very heavy as we truly feel your sadness and wish to share it with you. Our prayers are for each in your family feeling Candace’s peace, as her Savior holds her and comforts her beyond the veil as He is for each loved one here. Judy & son,
