Bruce Doyle Muncy October 4, 1962 - March 13, 2025

Bruce Doyle Muncy was reunited with his father Hollis Jr. Muncy in heaven on March 13th, 2025.

Bruce absolutely loved fishing and riding his bicycle. He never turned down the chance to join his sons on an adventure in the mountains. He was full of light and would help anyone anytime day or night. He was the rock of his family and the person you could call when you needed someone to listen to or come to your rescue. He was the most loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather anyone could ask for. He was a beloved son and brother.

Bruce had a passion for working. He drove a side dump and absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. He adored his co-workers at Sunroc and built lifelong friendships with them.

Bruce is preceded in death by his Father: Hollis Jr. Muncy, Mother-in-Law: Clara Sue Chidester, and son: Brandon Steffens. He is survived by his Mother: Merle Stoker Muncy, Wife: Julie Muncy, Daughter Kristal (Brent) Bunnell, Sons Auston (Halsie) Muncy, Kyle (Devin) Fausett, Taylor (Jacee) Davies, Bruce J Muncy, Brother Bill (Becky) Muncy, Sisters Cindy Johnson, Vicki Cunningham, Bobbi (Steve) Myren, Teresa (Darrell) Jensen,  Grandchildren (who adored their Grandpa Goofy): Kensington, McCoy, and Harper Lynn as well as countless nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 650 West 800 South in Payson, Utah.

I worked with Bruce at Sunroc for 5 years before transferring to southern Utah. He was a guy who always seemed to have a smile and conversation with him was never lacking laughter. He was a genuinely nice guy. My condolences to the family. May he rest easy.
