Bridger Riggs Livestream Broadcast

Bridger McKay Riggs, 25, our son, brother, cousin, and friend, passed away too soon on December 8th, 2024 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born June 7th, 1999 to Matt and Melyssa Riggs of Spanish Fork, Bridger was loved by all who knew him. Bridger grew up in Spanish Fork and graduated from Spanish Fork High School. Bridger had a special love for life. He loved playing chess, bowling, the outdoors, hiking, fishing, camping, and golfing but he especially loved snowboarding at Brighton with his brothers and friends and riding his motorcycle. Bridger loved his family and had a niece and two nephews whom he adored. He had many loyal friends and loved spending time with them.

Bridger never judged people. He seemed to understand and accept everyone. He was a quiet, gentle soul with a great sense of humor. He was very talented and artistically gifted. He was a huge gamer and computer nerd, who loved building them which led him to his career in computer technology. He was very intelligent and a quick learner. He was independent and loved to learn how to do everything himself, including cooking.

Bridger was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He will be greatly missed. We look forward to the time when we will see him again. We love you Bridger! See you on the other side!

Bridger is survived by his parents, Matt and Melyssa of Spanish Fork, his brothers, Jesse (Savanah) of Salem, and Jake (Bailey) of Springville, his girlfriend, Madison Woodruff of West Jordan, his Grandma, Barbara Veteto of American Fork, and uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family and friends.

Hi Bridger, and Bridgers, family and friends. My name is Reian Gentsch and I believe I was a good friend of Bridgers. It’s been a couple years though because I am here in California and Bridger and I live completely different lives. I loved Bridger he was such an amazing soul but here on out through our friendship and relationship he was a kind soul to me. We’ve always been there for each other. Bridger was somebody that was extraordinary and he spoke with such kind words ALWAYS and was a very patient person, careful, loving, a jokester, someone you can lean on, a really good friend/ family member. He was there always back then for the excitement in our lives and we loved sharing that with each other. I remember my friends even from here (California) know him because I would FaceTime with him and he was just so goofy and happy all the time. They say they love you too. I’d like to think that he was happy with his life that he had but I wouldn’t have any idea, I appreciated him so much and the memories I have with him are amazing and book worthy. I’ll miss him. It just sucks when you look at somebody’s profile on social media because of the time that has grown or look at somebody and say I’ll see you again. that’s not what ends up happening because you never know when their last day is I kept saying I’ll talk to him tomorrow or maybe I’ll reach out another day, But another day was his last day.
To his friends and family he was an amazing man. We all can agree he was taken too soon & it hurts my soul to see him go. I have a photo of what he wrote to a letter on the sky and it says and I quote “I’m where I need to be” that was my last photo with him. And it’s absolutely beautiful… because once again he never expected to be gone and we never know when somebody’s gonna go upstairs. Bridger, even though I haven’t seen you in years, you have had a mark on my heart, and I will always hold onto that. Rest in peace, my friend Bridger. And I give all the love for your family and friends because of your loss. I can’t imagine it’s easy losing you might be the hardest thing ever for them. ❤️ I love you I’ll see you again in heaven.

We are heartbroken by the passing of Bridger. My daughter and Bridger have been dating and together for over a year and beginning their future together. His impact upon my daughter and our family has been profound.
As a father you want your daughter to meet a kind person, a loving person and Bridger is that kind of man. Words cannot adequately express the grief of losing him. He made the world a better place and the good he brought to many thru words and deeds.
Our heartfelt condolences to his family, and friends.
Thru this tragedy, we have had a chance to meet his family and some friends and thank you for your caring & kindness to my daughter
Bless you with love, strength and courage going forward.
We will forever be grateful to Bridger and his family
    Love,
    The Woodruff Family
