Brandon David Paul Funeral Service

Brandon David Paul passed away August 8, 2022.

Brandon was born to David Allen Whittaker and Karen Hill December 23, 1983, in Payson, Utah. Brandon’s mother Karen later married Kevan Paul who raised and adopted Brandon.

In Brandon’s younger years, he played baseball and golf and in high school he was a member of the FFA and the Golf team and graduated from Payson High School in 2002.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and in Boy Scouts earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Brandon was a hard worker. He started to learn the plumbing trade at age 17 and was employed in the trade for 21 years. Most recently, he worked alongside one of his best friends with Jon Baum Plumbing and this summer Brandon was happy to also work with his son Brodee. He was proud to have passed his test to become a General Contractor.

Brandon married Kamalee (Kami) Kay Atwood June 10, 2006, in Payson, Utah. They made their first home in Payson where they were blessed with two sons.  His whole world were his two boys, Brodee and Ryler.  They later made their home in Levan, Utah where he always dreamed of living because his home away from home, Argyle Canyon, was too far away.

Brandon loved the outdoors but had a special place in his heart for Argyle. From a young age, he enjoyed spending time at the Hill and Loveless cabins.  Later in his life, he expanded his mountain family after marrying into the Atwoods.  They were able to purchase their own property that he worked many hours to make their own slice of the mountain.

Brandon loved watching his boys race dirt bikes and was extremely proud of their many accomplishments.  He always encouraged them to “chase their dreams” and to “go get it buddy.”  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving four wheelers and snowmobiles, and any reason to hit the mountain.  He also had a love for country music, and especially loved his dogs.  Brandon loved being surrounded by his friends, so he would often entertain them by smoking meats on his Traeger to keep them close by.

Brandon is survived by his wife Kami; his children, Brodee and Ryler; his parents, Karen and Kevan Paul; his siblings, Fawn Paul of Palmer, Alaska, Ashley (Devin) Bloomfield of Santaquin, Utah, Dustin (Racheal) Paul of Levan, Utah, and Amberly Paul of Payson, Utah; many nieces and nephews; his parents in-law, David and Polly Atwood of Helper, Utah; brothers in-law, Wess (Poppy) Atwood of Santaquin Utah, and Jesse Milano of Helper, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his father David Whittaker; grandparents, Theron and Pat Hill, Ferrel and Sally Atwood, and Don and Jean Whittaker; mother in-law, Debra Nelson; brother in-law, Darren Milano; uncle, Mike Atwood; and his dogs, Tuff, Abby, and Sissy.
