Blaine Evans Livestream Broadcast

Blaine B Evans, our daddy, our Papa Jo, and our best friend, passed away April 16, 2026, surrounded by his girls. Blaine was born to Dan and Jane Evans on June 6, 1937. He spent most of his childhood helping on the family farm, where he learned the value of hard work, a principle that would guide him throughout his life.

On April 26, 1957, Blaine married the love of his life, Linda Lee Baum, in Spanish Fork, Utah. Early on in their marriage Blaine learned the value of family. Blaine and Linda were blessed with five children – Teresa, Lisa, Andie, Danny, and Suzee – who are the center of his world. He was a devoted and kind father, steady in his loving, constant in his support. Though he endured the unimaginable loss of his daughter, Lisa, his granddaughter, Danielle, and his son Danny, these trials only deeped his love for his family and strengthened his devotion to those who remained. After the tragic loss of Lisa, to a drowning, Blaine‘s first concern was when his family could go to the temple and be sealed. His family was everything to him – his greatest pride, his deepest joy, and his most important purpose.

As his family grew, Blaine found some of his greatest joy in being a grandpa. He loved every minute of it, whether it was taking the grandkids to feed the cows, changing sprinklers, heading up to his property in Birdseye, or on a four-wheeler ride. Time spent with them was time well spent. As he grew older, he lovingly referred to his grandchildren as “love bug “or “turkey “, and his signature snort never failed to make them smile. These simple, tender moments became treasured memories that will live on in their hearts forever.

Blaine was not afraid of work. There was a time in his life where he worked at Geneva, labored on the farm, and worked to build his own successful trucking company each day. He worked from before sunrise to well after sunset each day. He approached every responsibility with determination, honesty, and grit. He was a man whose word was his bond. If he said something, you could count on it. He lived with integrity in a way that earned the respect of all who knew him. He was also quietly generous, often helping others without recognition. If you ever had a bill paid off anonymously in a time of need, it was probably him- though he would never want the credit!

Blaine had a personality that was uniquely his own. His “Spanish Fark“ speech was something you just had to experience to understand, and those who knew him best will never forget it. He carried an even temperament throughout his life, though it was certainly tested – especially by his daughters. He had a playful side as well, if you ever asked him a question, you are probably still waiting for a serious answer.  He was also known to be quite the flirt. Whether it was visiting the girls at Pit Stop or at Denny’s, he brought laughter and light wherever he went. He had a way of making people feel seen, appreciated, and like they were the only person in the world that mattered to him.
Through every stage of life, Blaine remained constant – hard-working, generous, and deeply devoted. His legacy is one of quiet strength, selfless giving, an unwavering love for family. His example will continue to guide those who knew him and loved him.

Blaine is survived by Chad and Teresa Argyle, Chad and Andie Gardiner, Pam Evans, and John and Suzee Anderson. He is also survived by his best friends: Jed, Calee, Ary and Quincy Argyle; Paul, Abbie, Allie, Austin, Addi and Payzlie Taylor; Jake, Kelci, Jenson, Kylor, Korver and Avonlee Argyle; Ryan, Mandie, Braxton, Tayven, Keaton and Elsie Tuttle; Gatlin, Vanessa, Boston, Bentlee and Haze Gardiner; Brock and Veda Evans; KelLee, Witton, WelLee and Rosie Jo Williams; Traven, Shelby, Wren and Otto Gardiner; HadLee, Holly, OakLend, Kolter and Rayden Gardiner; Casey, Lindsay, Caselyn, McKoy, Corbin and Daycen Grover; Ted, Katlin, Taylor, Anniston and Hudson Dalton; Bryce, Kole, Zakaree, and Ozzlyn Goff; Kade, Miranda, Ellie and Isla Evans; Taylor, Britlee, HenLee and Harlow Beck; Bryson, Lisa, Rosalyn and Aurely Anderson; Briggs and Michael Stringham; Brielle, Brevan and Brennae Anderson.
