Barbara Snyder Hall October 2, 1957 - March 29, 2026

Barbara was born October 2, 1957, in Coalville, Utah, the third daughter of Veleen Blonquist Snyder and Orlo Snyder. She grew up on a 30-acre family farm that became the backdrop for a childhood rich in outdoor adventures, animals, and imaginative play. From swinging on a rope in the hay loft to skating on the frozen river, to racing leaf-boats in the summer ditch, her early years were shaped by a small-town world with lasting memories.

A homebody and imaginative child, Barbara loved dolls, make-believe, and music. She found joy in the simple things, sitting by the heater on cold mornings, watching classic cartoons and movies, and listening to her dad sing and play the guitar.

After high school, Barbara lived in Provo before moving to Springville with her family in 1976. There, she met Kevin on a blind date, and they were married on October 1, 1977. Their early married life included a basement apartment in Provo and then the purchase of a starter home in Spanish Fork. Barbara embraced homemaking and the joy of building a family. On July 19, 1985, Barbara and Kevin were sealed in the Provo Temple with their children—a defining and deeply treasured moment in her life.

Motherhood was Barbara’s greatest joy. She raised four children—Jacob, Hillary, Kelsey, and Nicolas—with deep and unconditional love. She cherished the everyday moments of parenting: school events, ball games, family vacations, and celebrating each milestone with a full heart.

Barbara was truly a homebody, and her home was the heart of everything. It was a revolving door, always open, always welcoming. She loved walking into a room and seeing a big pile of shoes by the door. It meant her family was there, safe and together. Her grandchildren knew they could stop by anytime, confident that their favorite drink would be stocked and a cupboard full of candy would be waiting for them. She had a special gift for making every person who entered her home feel like the most important person in the world. Barb rarely missed a game, performance, or event for her children and grandchildren and was always their biggest fan.

Barbara loved side-by-side rides with Kevin, trips to the beach, traveling to Montana and Minnesota to spend time with family, and she loved her trips to Disneyland. Barbara loved music and enjoyed attending concerts—her first being Led Zeppelin.

Holidays were especially meaningful to Barbara. Her home became a gathering place filled with laughter, activity, and love. Christmas, in particular, brought her immense joy. She created “Holiday House” which became some of our most treasured memories. Barbara’s greatest joy in life was simply having everyone together under one roof.

A visit to Barb’s house would most often find her curled up by the space heater, asking how your day was, and enjoying a Diet Pepsi. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen, loved, and cared for. She was selfless, always putting others first, even in her most difficult moments.

As a grandmother to 15 grandchildren, Barbara found a new depth of joy. She treasured their hugs, celebrated their unique personalities, and loved them unconditionally. She created moments that her grandchildren will never forget. Her legacy is one of warmth, devotion, and a heart that made everyone feel at home.

Family, faith, service, and community were central to Barbara’s life. She built meaningful relationships through her work and formed lifelong friendships that she deeply valued.

This last year being the most difficult for her, she leaned on Kevin through the hard times to the very end. He lifted her up, made her laugh, and took care of her every need. We all know she loves him deeply.

Barbara will be truly missed.

Barbara is survived by her husband Kevin Hall. Her children Jake (Lindsey) Hall, Hillary (Dave) Cunningham, Kelsey (Alan) Bushman, Nic (Chloe) Hall and 15 grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday April 2nd, 2026 from 6pm-8pm and Friday April 3rd from 9:45am-10:45am.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 3rd at 11:00am
